Talent Included is delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of a People Advisor to join their dedicated People Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys providing practical advice, supporting managers and making a real difference through people.
As People Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing advice and guidance across a broad range of operational HR and employee relations matters. You’ll work closely with managers, helping them navigate performance, absence, wellbeing, policies and formal HR processes with confidence.
The Role
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
- Supporting employee relations, performance management and absence
- Advising on informal and formal processes, including investigations and disciplinary matters
- Supporting HR policies, contracts, benefits and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems, including Bamboo
- Supporting payroll queries and transactional HR activity
- Using people data to identify trends and make recommendations
- Supporting recruitment and selection activity
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Building strong relationships with managers and providing a trusted HR service
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a confident and credible HR professional with:
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (Level 5 desirable)
- Experience in a generalist or operational HR role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employee relations
- Experience advising and supporting managers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to analyse information and provide practical solutions
- A proactive, resilient and customer-focused approach
- Strong discretion and professional judgement
Please note: This is a multi-site role, so travel between care homes and school locations is required and access to transport is essential. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
