About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to join a fast-paced, evolving organisation on a 6-month FTC. This is a key role supporting the delivery of a new people strategy, with responsibility for a broad range of HR operational and advisory activity.
You will act as a trusted HR partner across the business, ensuring robust HR operations, strong employee relations support, and seamless end-to-end people processes.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving, regulated environment, and enjoys working in a varied, delivery-focused HR position.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver day-to-day HR operations aligned to the wider people strategy
Provide expert ER support, managing cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
Review, update and develop HR policies ensuring compliance and best practice
Act as HR lead liaison with a third-party payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and issue resolution
Oversee full onboarding and offboarding processes
Support managers with HR advisory guidance across the employee lifecycle
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies and procedures
About You
Proven experience in a HR Generalist / HRBP / HR Ops role
Strong background in Employee Relations case management
Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
Comfortable creating and updating HR policies
Experience within a regulated environment (highly desirable)
CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Pragmatic, commercial, and solutions-focused approach
Able to work at pace in a changing environment
What’s on Offer
£50,000 – £60,000 salary (DOE)
