Salary: £40,000 – £45,000pa 
 
We’re working exclusively with an established, values-led organisation to recruit a Senior People Advisor. This is a confidential appointment for an employer that places people, culture and operational excellence at the heart of everything they do.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with managers, navigating complex employee relations matters and helping to shape a positive workplace culture. You’ll join a collaborative People team where you’ll have genuine influence across a diverse, multi-site workforce.
 
The Role
Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll provide expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring managers are equipped to lead their teams effectively while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
 
You’ll be involved in:
  • Providing practical HR advice to managers across a range of employee relations matters.
  • Managing disciplinary, grievance, investigation and performance management processes.
  • Supporting absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Advising on contractual changes and employment legislation.
  • Supporting payroll-related queries and HR administration.
  • Maintaining HR systems and people data.
  • Driving continuous improvement across People processes.
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and organisational initiatives.
 
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, credible and commercially aware, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
 
You’ll ideally have:
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience supporting managers within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Experience using HR systems.
  • CIPD Level 3 (minimum), with Level 5 desirable.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
